The Internal Revenue Service pushed back the federal filing deadline. Now, California has followed suit for small business filing state taxes.
Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order Monday night delaying by 90 days the deadline for businesses filing tax returns of less than $1 million.
Small business won’t have to file their first-quarter returns until July 1. The order also extends the statute of limitations to file a claim for refund by 60 days for business impacted by the coronavirus.
