There are now 15 confirmed cases of Riverside County residents with the novel coronavirus, the county Public Health Officer Dr. Cameron Kaiser announced via Twitter Monday morning, March 16.
Thirteen of the cases are in the Coachella Valley; the other two are cruise ship passengers who were hospitalized in Northern California. Of the 15 cases, 11 are considered to be locally acquired with the other four having acquired COVID-19 through travelling, according to the county public health coronavirus website.
