A $175 million bond measure to fund facilities improvements at Riverside, Moreno Valley and Norco colleges will be on the March 3 ballot, the Riverside Community College District decided Tuesday night, Nov. 19.
If 55% of voters approve, the measure would provide money to improve classrooms, labs and Veteran centers at the three community colleges run by the district.
The work would provide better facilities, leading to better education outcomes, including an increase in timely completion and transfer rates, the district said in a news release.
