The San Bernardino City Unified School District announced Sunday it had been hit with a ransomware attack that locked access to computer files.
A ransomware attack has directly impacted the School District computer network and has locked access to District files. We are working non-stop to correct the problem,” a statement on the district website said. “Please know: Student and parent data is secure. Nutrition Services and transportation are not impacted. Attendance will be completed manually. School phone lines are working however email communications with teachers and staff will not be possible until the situation is resolved. Thank you for your patience.”
