How To Check Your Voter Status/Voting Preference

With Newsom pushing all voters to mail in ballots  because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the issue of ‘Ballot Harvesting’ has been brought to the forefront of the 2020 election in California. Here is a Townhall article that explains what Ballot harvesting is exactly and how it hurts the integrity of our elections.

Los Angeles County has already made the decision to go ahead and send mail in ballots to EVERY registered voter, not just the ones with ‘Vote by Mail’ preference, for the November election . The California Republican Party has already sued Newsom over ballot harvesting and asked him to prohibit this practice.

Another way you can make sure that the Democrats don’t try and steal this election is to keep checking your voter status regularly and making sure that you have not been changed to Mail in ballot preference or have any other so called ‘errors’ that may keep you from voting/voting under a provisional ballot.

Here is an easy 3 step guide to show you how to check your voter status/preference if you don’t know how already:

1. Go to https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/cavoter/  and select this option:Screen Shot 2020-05-02 at 12.40.34 PM

P.S. It doesn’t hurt to change your party preference if you’re registered Democrat
