For consecutive nights protests/riots have broken out across the nation in response to the tragic death of George Floyd. On Friday Saturday and Sunday protests were held throughout the state. Below are videos and posts from the protests.

There has been an LAPD Officer-Involved Shooting in the area of Melrose Ave & North Wilton Place. A Public Information Officer is responding to the scene and we will provide more details as they become available.

Five Los Angeles Police Officers were injured during the protests on Saturday. Two were hospitalized. Their injuries ranged from contusions and broken bones to a fractured skull.
