CVS Health has installed 62 new safe medication disposal units at its store locations across Southern California to help prevent opioid abuse.

According to a statement issued by the company, the new units are being installed across the region including in Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, Long Beach and Riverside. The company has pledged to add 750 such units in CVS pharmacy locations across the country.
