Border Patrol agents Saturday arrested nine people found onboard a boat in Mission Bay believed to have been trying to enter the United States illegally.

According to agents, the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Border Patrol days they received a call from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife about a vessel hey believed was suspicious in the Dana Basin area of Mission Bay.
