The price to cross the Golden Gate Bridge will tick up by 25 cents Sunday, bringing the toll to $8 for some drivers.

And Golden Gate bus and ferry fares will rise Sunday too.

With all-electronic tolls now on the bridge — toll takers were eliminated in March 2013 — the cost to cross can easily be increased by adjusting toll-taking computer systems.

The tolls will increase to $7 for FasTrak users and $8 for pay-by-plate drivers at the stroke of midnight Sunday
