President Trump on Friday gave a thumbs down to the House GOP’s moderate compromise immigration bill — declaring that he wanted a law that would provide “tremendous security” at the southern border.
“I certainly wouldn’t sign the more moderate one,” Trump said on “Fox & Friends” during an interview on the White House lawn.
“I need a bill that gives this country tremendous border security. I have to have that.”
