California is known for its great outdoors, high rent and boundless food scene, but it comes to safety it doesn’t cut it, according to one study.
WalletHub created a ranking on the safest states in the U.S. and only three western states managed to make the top 10. Utah scored the highest of the West Coast states at No. 4, followed by Hawaii at No. 8. Washington took the No. 10 spot, and California stumbled to No. 32.
