San Diego Tribune–
San Diego Superior Court judge ruled Friday that the San Diego City Attorney’s Office cannot go on defending the city in a lawsuit by a San Diego police detective because the office violated the detective’s right to confidential communications with her lawyer.
The ruling came Friday in the 2014 lawsuit by Detective Dana Hoover on allegations that she was retaliated against after sending an email about “false statements” another detective made about a police line-up during a murder trial four years ago.
