Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen is scheduled to visit the U.S.-Mexico border in Calexico Wednesday to view the renovation of border fencing in the area.

The construction has been touted as part of President Trump’s proposed border wall, but funding for the fencing repairs was included in the 2018 budget.
