San Francisco Examiner–
Ten San Francisco nonprofits will receive a total of $500,000 in grants under a program intended to keep nonprofits in the city they serve, Mayor Mark Farrell announced Monday.
The selected organizations were awarded grants to support real estate costs and expansion efforts as a part of the Nonprofit Sustainability Initiative, a program begun two years ago under Mayor Ed Lee that has awarded $6 million so far to nonprofits.
